[it's arqueros time!!! and it's also time for some chaos! if rindo somehow clambers up the tower, whether out of curiosity or otherwise, lena will be inside. though she's at least aware enough that these seem to be two-pilot systems...
so she nods in greeting and slight apprehension.]
Hello. I'm Vladile— [the door of the tower shuts. clicks locked. hm.] .... na.....
[ . . . ]
I wouldn't suppose you might know if that's standard or not?
[you know, the thing about being a teenage boy is that sometimes you're extremely food motivated. the thing about being rindo specifically is that seeing the word "mission" sends a sort of fight or flight instinct through him and he's off to see what his options are.
it's how he finds himself at arqueros and it's how he finds himself snooping around, trying to really understand what he's seeing. he can grasp the basic idea that it's a co-op situation. he vaguely wonders if he should've brought fret, but things are still...hm. as the leader, it makes sense to check everything out himself first. (this is a poor plan.)
when lena arrives though, he hears her and he turns to look back at her and nod in greeting as well. it's sort of short-lived as he hears the door shut, and he frowns as he glances back behind her.]
...Rindo. And definitely not. I was...kind of trying to figure out how this whole thing really works. [and because he has to ask.] It's really locked?
[well. she's going to go ahead and just walk over to the door, trying to pry it open with force. she taps at a keypad near the wall as if to see if that'll do something, and.... nope.]
Looks like it... Are we meant to engage with the equipment?
[he's following a little, hovering around her shoulder to get a look himself before deducing that they are, indeed, stuck. he frowns at the question, glancing back at the machinery curiously.]
Like a training simulation or something. [close enough.] ...I don't really get how it all works, but if it's meant for two people what choice do we have? We can try it and see if it unlocks the door.
[it's not a matter of comfort anymore. now it's a matter of doing what's necessary, so he begins to approach one of the arquero.]
action ; drift! drift!!!!!

[a glance... it's co-pilots so...]
Would you be comfortable trying it with me?
